One of the greatest functions of the Web is electronic mail or 'E-mail'. It allows us to communicate with each other without the need for paper, envelopes, stamps and letterboxes. It lets us write to a friend in Brazil or a colleague in Shanghai and the cost to 'post' such a message is a fraction of a penny piece.
